Whipped Honey Goat Cheese on Grilled Crostini

Ingredients

Multi-grain baguette, cut on the bias into 1/4” slices

Olive oil

2 garlic cloves halved

Cracked pepper

4 oz soft mild goat cheese at room temperature

2 tbsp whipping cream

3 tbsp Swan Valley Honey

Fresh chives

Preparation

1. Preheat barbecue to medium. Brush one side of baguette slices with olive oil. Grill until lightly charred. Remove from heat and cool.

2. Combine goat cheese and cream in bowl of electric mixer outfitted with the whisk attachment; process until well blended. Add honey and process until combined.

3. Place mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Squeeze goat cheese mixture onto baguette slices. Add black pepper. Top with chives.

4. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
